• Fossilized wood is formed when dead wood is saturated with silicic acid in the absence of air and then solidifies through loss of water.  Depending on the exact circumstance of formation, the substance of the wood is replaced either by quartz or, more rarely, by opal.
• Stimulates inner imagery; stimulates recovery, is calming, helps us collect ourselves and helps up keep our feet firmly planted in reality; helps us create a pleasant atmosphere; stabalizes our health by stimulating our metabolism, calming the nerves, creating a feeling of well-being and helps with obesity
• Should be worn or used in a stone circle.  A slice of fossil wood is ideal for meditating, if it is large enough to sit on.

Due to the varying weights involved, we have rounded each piece to 1/2 lb., which obviously allows you to order more of the smaller pieces for the same amount of money as the larger pieces.
