It is primarily a stone of preventative care and protects against the user or healer neglecting their own health; encourages high standards of integrity and open, non-confrontational communication; effective in visualization; protects against unfriendly phantoms

Set it in a white ceramic bowl and leave it in the center of your home at a happy gathering.

Howlite is named after Henry How, a geologist who discovered it in Nova Scotia. It is called the home-blessing stone. It is traditionally buried around the boundaries (of in indoor plant pots) at the four main compass directions and a small piece is placed over the front and back doors.
